Twitter

Twitter is een internetdienst waarbij gebruikers korte berichtjes publiceren. Door de combinatie van webloggen met instant messaging wordt het soms microblogging genoemd, aldus Wikipedia. De berichtjes die je naar Twitter stuurt, de zogenaamde ‘tweets’ mogen maximaal 140 karakters lang zijn en kunnen verstuurd worden via het web, twitter applicaties zoals Twhirl (de applicatie die ik gebruik om de berichtjes van mijn twitter-vriendjes te lezen) of sms.
