3FM launches apps

3FM has launched two applications for the iPhone for the Serious Request event. One application follows and updates the software that came available last year for phones with other operating systems. You can follow live broadcasts from the Glass House.

The other application is the '3 FM Serious Request Game Stop Malaria. "In the game you operate a Red Cross employee with a land cruiser through Africa. You distribute as much as possible mosquito nets to people along the roadside. How much protection can you give against malaria?", Explains 3FM DJ Bart Arens.

The game is free. "To ensure that all the money goes to charity (and not 30 percent for Apple) the game itself is free but you can donate money on using a 'donate' button in the application."
