How much memory space does the application take on my phone?

The format of the application is several hundred Kb's depending on the type of device. We recommend you to install the application on the phone memory (not memory card) . Allow sufficient space in the phone memory to install the application.

How to install the NOS Mobile application on my device?
You can use the application in two ways:

SMS NOS MOBILE to 9090:
SMS NOS MOBILE  to 9090 and you receive an SMS with a link to the mobile download page. Activate this link and follow the instructions on the mobile download page.

Mobile webbrowser
Browse with your device to http://m.nos.nl/nosmobiel. Follow the instructions and install the application in the phone memory of your device.

I haven't received a SMS:
Check whether the SMS is actually sent to 9090 with the text "MOBILE NOS. Receiving an SMS can sometimes take a while. Half an hour after you haven't received an SMS, send an SMS to 9090 again.

I can not download the NOS Mobile application. What is going on?
You are not in the Netherlands or on a network or access point not yet known to us. Send an email with information about the access to mobiel@nos.nl

    Hallo nos,

    Met mijn telefoon, de Nokia N97 heb ik geprobeerd om de applicatie te downloaden, maar het lukt niet. Hij begint niet automatisch met downloaden wanneer ik naar de site ga. Komt dat omdat mijn mobiel hier (nog) niet geschikt voor is?

    Volgens de laatste update (update: 01-07-09) van de NOS is de applicatie nog niet beschikbaar voor de N97.

    Je kan ook naar de mobiele website surfen.
    De NOS Mobiel website is te vinden op http://m.nos.nl. Deze website kan als alternatief dienen indien u liever geen applicatie op uw telefoon wilt installeren of de installatie noet lukt. De site bevat (net als de applicatie) nieuws, sportnieuws, video, weer, verkeer. De live televisiekanalen en de teletekstservice ontbreken echter.

Sygic, a navigation producer, released software for Nokia's Linux platform Maemo 5, the navigation software runs on Linux-smartphone Nokia's N900.
