Nog even een vraagje.Ik heb de app geinsteleerd.Niet dat ik straks een mega rekening krijg van het smsen .Ik kan dus met iedereen pingen die een app heeft

Als je een internet abonnement met onbeperkt datalimiet hebt, is er geen probleem. Anders betaal je voor de kosten die je maakt om steeds kort online te gaan met de applicatie...weet niet wat de situatie is bij jou.

Maar waar moet ik de telefoon nu opzetten?
network...op cellular,wi-fi of wi-fi,cellular.

Maakt eigenlijk niet zo veel uit. Op een Wifi netwerk, als die binnen bereik en toegankelijk is, werkt je mobiele internet en de daaraan verbonden apps het snelst.

Zij schrijven...
Mocht je nu al Swype willen gebruiken op je Nokia N8, dan is daar een workaround, of trucje, voor. Officieel is Swype op dit moment alleen nog beschikbaar voor de Nokia C7, en niet in Nederland dus. Maar goed, als het wel zou werken dan zou je onderstaande stappen moeten volgen.

Om het aan de praat te krijgen moet je met je N8 naar deze OVI Store link van Swype surfen, daar aangeven dat je een Nokia C7 hebt en vervolgens kiezen voor de 'Send to a Friend' optie. Daar geef je dan je eigen mobiele nummer op en binnen enkele minuten ontvang je dan op je N8 een download link voor Swype.

Vervolgens kun je Swype dus gewoon downloaden en installeren op de N8. Er is, omdat het natuurlijk nog niet de 'officiele N8 versie' is, wel een klein nadeel. Swype werkt alleen op het keyboard in landscape mode. Toch vreemd, want zowel de C7 als de N8 draaien op Symbian^3. Maar goed, voor iedereen die een Nokia N8 h...

Hallo,

Ik probeer Reisplanner Xtra en 9292OV Pro op mijn nieuwe C7 te zetten, maar ik krijg steeds te horen dat die apps het niet doen op de C7 (en ook niet op de N8 trouwens).

Weet iemand waarom? Komt dit door Symbian 3 en zo ja, wanneer kan ik dit wel gebruiken?

Het is denk ik voor sommige bedrijven niet te doen om de snelheid waarmee mobiele systemen veranderen bij te houden...vaak kiezen ze in eerste instantie voor iPhone en Android en pas later voor andere systemen. Ik denk als je even geduld hebt komt er ook weer een app voor Symbian 3. En anders moet je je eventueel richten tot de klantenservice van de NS.

Thanks Nicolas. Jammer maar helaas. Ik baal er eigenlijk best wel van, want dit zijn de twee apps die ik het meest zou gebruiken. Ik denk overigens dat dit weer een indicator is dat Nokia het niet meer gaat winnen op de smartphone markt. Die C7 is een mooi toestel, maar ja, als je je favoriete apps er niet op kan zetten...

Ik wacht wel even af ,wanneer ik de swype gewoon kan downloaden op mij nokia n8

Hallo,

als ik ovi open en ik sluit de nokia n8 aan krijg ik steeds de melding dat er geen verbinding is tussen de laptop(ovi) en de nokia n8. Links onderin het ovi-scherm zie ik wel dat er geprobeert word om verbinding te maken maar dat lukt dus niet. Wat doe ik fout?

Hey mensen,
Ik heb gisteren mijn nokia C7 in huis gekregen
toen ik alles een beetje had doorgelezen kwam ik op het punt dat de ovi shop moest starten maar hij zeg dat ik het moest downloaden en installeren, nou prima gedaan
maar installatie wordt niet voltooid,
dus ik kan geen gebruik maken van de smsjes die ik heb gekregen voor de ovi shop.
vind het wel vervelend!

Wie heeft hier een oplossing voor of ik wat vergeten ben of dergelijke!
